There's a lot of people having issues with mouse movement, myself included. It comes across as mouse acceleration- which, as many Internet Geniuses have pointed out, is imposible becos COd doent hav mouse acceel so stfu noob. But it's still happening, and it completely ruins the multiplayer. Here are the things I have tried so far to solve it:
- Installing the Windows 7 / 8 mouse acceleration registry fix from here: http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.co.uk/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration -fix.html
- Turning off v-sync
- Turning on v-sync
- Turning my mouse sensitivity in Windows down to minimum and in the game up to maximum
- Turning my mouse sensitivity in the game down to minimum and in Windows up to maximum
- Capping the frame rate at 30fps
- Capping the frame rate at 60fps
- Leaving the frame rate completely uncapped
- Turning the detail down to minimum so the game runs at 120+fps
- Turning the detail back to normal so the game runs at 50 fps
NOTHING has worked. I've got a MadKatz Cyborg RAT 7 mouse. I have tried it at every DPI setting from highest to lowest, and the story is the same across the board. Other people are reporting similar problems with other mice.
Has anyone got a proper fix for this? Are the developers aware there is a problem?
