Ok 1st off, Why with PC plagued with so many sites selling cheats and such e-z access to cheats we (the community of legit players) arent informed who has cheated when treyarch bans someone? Why are we to know nothing about who the cheaters in our community are? You hide them away for what reason? so they can make excuses and continue to lie and cheat. You guys are so smart you can develop & write code for these video games but you can't figure out that keeping those who are the cheaters in our community a secret is an extremely bad thing? You & Vac anti-cheat make it so e-z for cheaters to continue to fool us with lies about why they have been banned, And in this games case we never know who has been banned unless they have been (Vac banned), and again were back to Vacs lame system where (we don't know why the player is banned or for what game), so any excuse the guy with a vac ban makes is the truth! Right? I guess so because we have no other PROOF!
Ok so continuing on It's obvious with the poor player count that many people who wanted to play this game with a cheat have been banned.
So why is the banlist such a secret?
At bare minimum. Get steam to post something when a player has been banned for bo2! instead of (Vac bans on record) (bo2 ban on record)
Hiding these players only makes me think the company is in on it in some way.
Cheaters should be treated like criminals & we should know who they are. Because they do rob us of having our legitimate best player being noticed in the PC community. Banning and hiding them from their peers isn't right. Is activision or treyarch the witness protection program for lowlives? This is strange with all this cheating and sites selling cheats you don't try to do your best to provide us with info to help us avoid lowlife liars & cheaters robbing us from legit play.
And also since there is nothing shown in steam/Vac for bo2 bans, can't every cheater who was banned from treyarch just get a new CD key/buy a new copy of bo2, change his account to private and start playing again until his hrs are back to where they were and no one will know the difference that he was banned by treyarch? Does anyone know if this is what's going on/possible?
If it is then there is really no hope for this game. Sorry trey but if that's what your new anti-cheat is then it is very useless to us. You guys need to dev something like origin or an improved VAC so you can post up our cheaters (just like vac does) and getting a new cd key doesn't do crap for you on that account. (the account is perma banned! and with a reason! (cheating/aimbot/wallhack/whatever) so the community doesn't have to play guessing games and take a person with a ban on their accounts word for what it was that got them banned. If it was console unlocker then that's what the ban states. Bo2 Account Status: [banned/console unlocker] so there are no disputes and gaps left open for cheaters/liars to continue to try & bs us! ["omg I was banned for using a custom crosshair I like, I wasn't cheating!"] Oh really? It says right there under your "Bo2 account status" you were banned for using an aimbot!
